Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this website, submitting a form, engaging a NextBrick package, or registering as a homeowner, builder, or supervisor on the NextBrick platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you're using our services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

What NextBrick is and isn't

NextBrick is an independent construction oversight and verification service. We inspect, document, and report on construction progress on behalf of a homeowner. We do not build, and we are not a party to any construction contract between a homeowner and a builder.

NextBrick is not a builder, contractor, architect, or structural engineer, and nothing on this website or within the platform should be read as construction, engineering, or legal advice. Homeowners remain responsible for their own contractual relationship with their builder and for engaging qualified professionals (architects, structural engineers, legal counsel) where that expertise is needed.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. When you create an account or submit a form, you agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Builder and supervisor accounts are subject to NextBrick's verification process. Passing verification reflects a review of the information and documents submitted at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of future conduct, workmanship, or project outcomes, and NextBrick may suspend or revoke verification at its discretion if circumstances change.

Packages, fees, and payment

NextBrick oversight is sold in packages (currently Essential, Professional, and Signature) per project, at the pricing and scope communicated to you at the time of purchase. Fees cover the oversight, inspection, verification, and reporting services described in your package. They are separate from, and do not include, any construction cost owed to your builder.

Cancellation and refund terms will be confirmed with you in writing at the time you purchase a package. As a general principle, fees for inspection or verification work already performed are non-refundable; amounts covering services not yet delivered may be refunded at NextBrick's discretion.

The nature of our oversight

Our inspections, reports, and verifications reflect the professional judgment of our team based on what is visible and available to us at the time of each site visit. They are not, and are not intended to be, a structural, engineering, or legal certification of your property.

Because NextBrick does not perform construction work, we are not responsible for defects, delays, cost overruns, or disputes arising from your builder's work. Our role is to independently observe, document, and verify, and to make that record available to you, not to guarantee the outcome of your construction project.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information on any form, application, or verification submission
• Use the platform to harass, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to another user
• Attempt to access another user's project data or account without authorisation
• Copy, resell, or redistribute NextBrick reports or platform content without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website or platform

Builder, vendor, and driver directories

NextBrick's builder directory helps homeowners discover builders who have completed our verification process; the vendor and logistics directories are informational listings only. In their current form, these directories do not support purchasing, booking, or payment through NextBrick. Any transaction you enter into with a builder, vendor, or logistics provider is directly between you and them, and NextBrick is not a party to it.

A "Verified" badge indicates a builder has completed our review process. It does not make NextBrick a guarantor of that builder's work.

Intellectual property

This website, the NextBrick platform, and all associated branding, content, and software are owned by V4 DevLabs or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not use our name, logos, or content without our prior written permission.

Homeowners retain ownership of the photos, documents, and project information specific to their property. By using NextBrick, you grant us a licence to use that information to deliver the service to you, and, only with your consent, to reference anonymised or aggregated project data for case studies or product improvement.

Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the website or platform will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, V4 DevLabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid to NextBrick for the specific project package giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold V4 DevLabs harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we discontinue a service. Where reasonably possible, we'll give you notice beforehand.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], India.

Before pursuing formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us directly. Most concerns can be resolved faster that way.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
